welcome Laura sellers

Madam President Camp is excited to welcome Laura Sellers who is joining our staff as Director of Operations.

A Kansas City native, Laura moved back home last year after receiving her Ph.D. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University. She brings a wide array of experience in education, research, data analysis, project management, and entrepreneurship to this role. Laura is fluent in Spanish and can also speak Portuguese and French. When she is not working, you can find Laura doting on her new baby niece.

This past summer, Laura worked as a volunteer at our camp. Laura’s new role will focus on supporting operations, communications, development, and evaluation strategies for Madam President Camp.
