Gould Charitable Foundation Provides $40,000 Grant to Develop Virtual Curriculum
The Gould Charitable Foundation announced a $40,000 grant to create an innovative virtual camp experience that will supplement in person camps.
“From the beginning, our goal has been to bring the Madam President Camp experience to as many girls as possible. The incredibly generous grant from the Gould Charitable Foundation enables us to take a huge leap toward this goal. We will now be able to create a virtual experience to reach those girls who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend our in-person camps in Kansas City. Given that COVID could still be an issue next summer, the Gould grant is absolutely critical to our mission,” explains Lee Smithson Burd, Madam President Camp co-founder.
